5 Levels Up is the new face of funk,dance & fusion that is taking Cape Town by storm . After their success at the 2011 Grahams Town National Arts Festival, it is clear that this new band has a fresh sound and great energy. 5 Levels Up has done various gigs in and around Cape Town (Zula Bar, Azura Restaurant, Trinity Bar) and the band has done interviews with local news papers, online music magazine The Riff and community radio station Bush Radio. The band consists of six members with a collective goal of taking their music to the masses and producing and out of the box crossover sound. 5 Levels Up plays a mixture of R&B, jazz, dance music, ballads and soft rock. Its not a boxed into any particular genre but has one commonality of fun in their music. The band is currently recording their first single called “THE KINK” which will be released in the next few months.
